LAURA ROACH, RID, ASID

After honing her skills at such luminaries as Gensler Architects, Laura founded Habitat Roche in 2010. Her early design experience includes being co-designer for the 4th largest trading floor in America, the private donor room for Houston Grand Opera and a host of corporate flagship offices. Later experiences include a post as Senior Associate at Kathy Andrews Interiors, Multi-Family Division, where she worked for clients Hanover Co. and GrayCo among others.

Laura has a curiosity for, coupled with a deep understanding of, the manner in which architectural elements fit together. Whether it’s a classic patina merged with contemporary furnishings or a highly detailed minimalist aesthetic, Laura appreciates the beauty of fine craftsmanship and the way that the right paint color and finish transform a space. Her environments combine a wide variety of custom elements and furnishings to create a custom fit.  Most of all, they create a feeling, a sense of wellbeing, joy, and contentment.

Her experience includes projects in New Orleans, Denver, Austin, and Houston. Laura is a Registered Interior Designer and member of ASID. Laura completed her academic training with a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Houston
